TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up
The Broker - The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
